Despite a colder May than I can remember, the light has been fantastic. This image is from my memories of my May walks, it is oil on board and very textured.
I have loads of sketch books, I keep one in every room in the house and always have one with me wherever I go. To me sketches are not just reference material for a painting but also like looking back at old photos, except better as they really capture a feeling of the memory. I also have to nominate 7 other bloggers for this award. Being so new to blogging, I have been truly inspired by all the people listed below, all in their own unique and individual ways.
